"She who is brave is free."
I began practicing in 2003 and immediately felt at home within the yogic community. This allowed me to challenge myself both physically and mentally, in a way that felt deeply meaningful and personal.
I believe in the importance of connecting to the body on a cellular level through movement and breath. I enjoy sharing the process of continual growth that occurs within the four corners of the mat. I’m incredibly humbled by those who choose to share that space with me.
The energy woven by the community at Yogatown is something truly magical. Whether I’m walking into the room for a self practice or entering the room to teach that very energy it feels as if I’m only feeling for the very first time.
My life off the mat includes making a good ‘ol fashioned mess in the kitchen whether it be baking my weekly banana loaf or a big pot of slow cooked in season nourishing goodness. My dog MAX walks and plays in nature. I am also a certified Pilates teacher making movement a huge part of my life. Seasonal activities of every sort I mean my equipment area of the basement includes it ALLLLLL. Ready for any adventure !!! Enjoy traveling the world with my hubby, and taking care of our vast indoor plant collection, making and creating art , reading and always learning something new 🙂
