My yoga practice began over 15 years ago when I was told it would help heal my lower back issues. Since then, not only did I feel stronger physically, but mentally as well. Yoga has opened my mind along with heart and has had a calming effect in my daily life. It has taught me so much about myself, about life and about the people around me and has made me more aware of the choices I make. These days, the true gift of yoga has given me the ability to listen and not always react. Being a full-time mom, yoga has helped me maintain a balanced attitude in my day-to-day life.
