I found yoga in my early twenties but didn’t start practicing regularly until after the birth of my two daughters. Classes quickly became an escape from my family responsibilities and an opportunity for me to reconnect with myself. When my family faced a particularly difficult challenge in 2014, I realized just how much I cherished those moments on my mat. Yoga and meditation were linked to my wellbeing.
A few years later, I put my office job aside, started my yoga teacher training and launched In Balance Jewelry where I make malas and other jewelry with semi-precious stones. It has been quite the adventure so far and I am thankful for each and every day. I truly believe that self-care is imperative in combating stress and improving resilience as we move through this busy and often unpredictable life. Yoga has been my anchor through thick and thin. I feel honoured to help guide others in their practice.
