One of the most fulfilling things I’ve been able to do through my business is train new teachers. 🤸♂️
I’ve heard it said that the teacher always learns more than the student, and I’ve found that to be true. Every time I lead a class, make an adjustment, or mentor another teacher, I’m also deepening my own personal practice, on and off the mat.
I think that’s a benefit that many teachers are surprised to discover.
Of the 100’s of teachers I’ve trained, some teach part-time, some full-time, and some have chosen not to teach at all. 👩🎓 People are often surprised when a student invests in yoga teacher training with no intention to teach, but I totally get it. There’s no better way to deepen your personal practice than learning to teach. And often, those students surprise themselves and decide to teach anyway. 🙋♀️
Of course, the life of a yoga teacher isn’t all wine and roses. 🍷 🌹
If you want to work as a yoga teacher, you need to know how to run a business. 💼
That’s why we’ve made the Yogatown Teacher Training a comprehensive program that not only helps you become a great teacher, but also shows you how to establish and grow a business. We have a lengthy and in-depth business of yoga element to our training, which includes full access to a business coach who’s helped hundreds of small business owners. ⏱
I’m so proud of the teachers I’ve trained over the years, and I’m also proud of the Yogatown Teacher Training program that we’ve created.
I also know that the knowledge I’ve been able to pass along to others is only possible because I had the opportunity to train with incredible teachers and mentors over the past 10+ years. 🧘♀️ I’m so grateful to each and every one of them. 🙏
