"A society should be judged not by how it treats its outstanding citizens, but by how it treats its criminals."

Sonya McLaren

My yoga journey started when I took my first hot yoga class in 2015 shortly after leaving my pre-professional dancing career. It was love at first sight. It truly was the saviour for my mind, body, and soul after a tough end with dance and years of physical and emotional hardship. It was in this practice that I was able to reconnect with myself, learn who I truly am, and understand how I want to show up in this world. My mission as a teacher is to leave you in a better place than when you walked into the studio. My goal is to create and hold space for you to have the experience that you need and to honour the time that you carved out for yourself.

Off the mat, I am a full time PhD candidate in Forensic Psychology at Carleton University. In the warmer months, I run for the mountains every chance I get. I absolutely love hiking and long treks and try to fit as many in as possible during the summer/fall. Additionally, long walks are one of my love languages. You can always find me out or up for a long walk (especially with a warm cup of coffee)!
