Yoga has been a significant part of my life for the past eight years and has helped me through university exams, moving and periods of stress and anxiety. Yoga has taught me to love and accept myself more; accept that every class is different and brings new experiences and challenges, similar to life outside of the yoga room. How we react to the situation or pose varies depending on how our body and mind feels in that moment, and it’s okay for it to vary day to day. My practice is always evolving, and I am grateful for it.
I am passionate about fitness and being active, from spin class, weight training to hiking and cross country skiing; I love being able to move my body and am so grateful I have the ability to. In addition, I enjoy cooking and baking, and playing with my cat, Penelope.
