“The wound is a place where the light enters you” - Rumi
As a teacher candidate at the University of Ottawa, I am always on the go as both a student and a teacher! My schedule is filled with lesson plans and workshops that keep me busy and engaged in a life long learner practice. Recently, I have embarked on the study of social emotional learning and in specific, trauma informed classrooms which sparked my interest in yoga!
After experiencing AromaYin, I instantly fell in love with the philosophies of yoga and the idea of being present within ourselves. I admire the emotional and psychological benefits that yoga provides inside and outside the studio.
When I’m not teaching in my primary/junior classrooms, you can find me on the mat practicing my self-care love, reading, enjoying a hike on the hills, exploring art work, or trying out local restaurants!
