Yoga has really changed my life because it has allowed me to get to know myself in a way I never have before. It has taught me to love myself and be grateful for the here and the now. Yoga has taught me about grace, forgiveness and love. The shifts I’ve made in my own life all have occurred because of yoga.
These changes have all trickled down into all aspects of my life and have touched so many others as a result. The things I’ve learned on my mat and left on my mat have been able to help me grow into the best version of myself, and one that I’m continually looking to improve on this journey of life. I’ve connected with so many like-minded yogis who have allowed me to just be me. Something so simple, yet something I’ve struggled with all my life. I’m beyond grateful to now be part of the team at the studio and have the honour to impact others with their own yoga journey.
When I’m not practicing yoga, I’m doing a variety of other activities including weight training, spinning, running, camping, bike riding and park hopping with my two boys, or simply being in a canoe or paddle board on the water. I love being in nature as it’s very healing and nurturing. I also have a passion for live music and enjoy making it to concerts when I can. I’m truly grateful to practice beside some incredible human beings who are part of our community who have lifted me up and allowed me to be myself and shine brighter than ever.
