"Either things change and grow or they die." -Kim Edwards
Yoga became a big part of my life when I was desperate to recover from painful inflammation in my foot. Yoga increased my self-awareness of mind, body and spirit, and there was no going back. Moving my body through it’s ranges of motion and cultivating self-awareness was crucial to my healing.
I also discovered that my yoga practice was an incredible tool for managing anxiety. I learned to breathe deeply in times of stress by bringing my yoga practice off the mat and into my daily life.
Now as a mom of 2 boys, yoga is the only way I can remain sane. Without it, everything would be total chaos!
I love to share my unique take on yoga. I love balancing my teaching with Power and Yin yoga. My goal is to help you build confidence on your mat so you can stay sane, focused and energized! We all have to start somewhere, and I love creating a space where new yogis feel welcome.
Off the mat, I love hanging out with my family, heading out on the water on my paddleboard and enjoying a glass of wine (or two!) with friends. I’m also a bit of a crazy cat lady!
