“The most important decision you will ever make is to be in a good mood.” -Voltaire
I began practicing yoga in 2010 as a compliment to my competitive soccer training. Developing my flexibility had a positive effect on my soccer game, helping me avoid injuries on the field.
After leaving my soccer career behind, yoga played an important role in helping me to overcome the anxiety that developed in the early years of my young adulthood.
Yoga and mindfulness were key in helping me put my stressors into perspective, and the positive effects from my practice encouraged me to take my teacher training in 2014.
In 2018, I moved to Ottawa to start law school at the University of Ottawa, and I will receive my juris doctorate in 2021. Although I am content to be immersed in law these days, teaching yoga remains one of my greatest passions.
Nothing makes me happier than challenging my students and seeing them succeed. My goal as a teacher is to create an environment where students feel comfortable and excited to explore!
