At first, yoga was all about the physical aspect for me. I always thought of it as a workout and some time to myself, which it still is. However, the longer and more frequently I practiced I started to teach myself to breathe properly, close my eyes and not worry about anyone or anything around me. Yoga has brought calmness to my life and has taught me to to breathe through moments of anger and anxiety and truly let things go.
Dental hygienist by day, yogi by night. 🧘♀️
