Truth is one. Paths are many. - The Rig Veda
One of my favourite direct translations of the Sanskrit word yoga is “expedient device” – another way of saying “the yoga works”. Its diversity of application means there’s so many routes to engagement, and I like to walk these intersecting paths with all the good company I find.
My teaching focuses on a holistic approach to yoga that widens the circle – including diverse mobilities and people.
Sometimes I feel like I’m so immersed in yoga that there is no other hobby, but if you count parenting, I’m immersed in that, too! We have a home in the woods, and my family, friends and our home are the focus of my time beyond yoga and meditation. (Family is a yoga practice, too, of course!)
