Health and fitness have always been very important aspects of my life. Yoga, however, has brought balance to my life in a way that I didn’t realize was possible. Life can get pretty crazy being a mom of two young girls! Yoga restores a sense of sanity by giving me a time and place just for me.
Initially, yoga for me was an alternate form of exercise, a way to stretch. I’ve always participated in competitive sports and high intensity training and yoga was another part of my fitness regime. Unexpected to me, my yoga evolved into something so much deeper than the physical. I love that you can’t “win” at yoga. It’s about creating space. It’s about acceptance and allows me to see the world with a different lens.
As a teacher, I hope to help others navigate their journey, restore balance and experience life in a way they never thought possible.
