Jen Paktus is a Yogatown institution and has been part of our community since day one and a Townie . Literally. She started practicing 11 years ago, taking her very first class with Tracy during the opening week of the Preston location. She moved from student, to Energy Exchange volunteer, then shifted to a teacher’s assistant, and now has established herself as one of our most cherished and charismatic teachers. Jen is boundless with her energy, generous with her kindness, and known for guiding a creative, powerful practice. You can join her much-anticipated Awaken Creativity workshop on March 7th or the two-part Yoga for Strength workshop on April 19+26.
What do you love most about teaching yoga?
The yogis who come back every week. They inspire me to show up authentically, be present, continue my studies so I can continue to be the best person for everyone who gives me their most valuable asset: time. Nothing beats seeing 50 people from all different walks of life come together to move, breathe, and practice peace. It’s truly powerful to witness. I’m forever grateful to be a small part of someone’s path.
